I’m Jacqui – journalist, blogger, and mum of two gorgeous girls; Big Sis, born Summer 2008, and Lil Sis, born Autumn 2010.
I was a true-life features and travel writer for 20 years, with my articles appearing in glossy magazines around the world, including Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Psychologies, Look and The Guardian’s Weekend magazine. After the birth of my youngest daughter, I began to move towards digital publishing, and am now a full-time blogger and influencer.
I’m very firmly enmeshed in the parent and lifestyle online community, with direct access to thousands of fellow bloggers – many of whom are now close friends. In the past six years I’ve been lucky to collaborate with dozens of high-profile companies and brands, including Philips, DFS, Kurio, Fisher Price, Next, Vertbaudet, Zalando, Base Fashion, House of Fraser, Arlo & Jacob, Marks and Spencer, and the stunning Windjammer Landing Resort in St Lucia.
I have spoken at many blogging conferences including Britmums Live, Blog Camp and Wonder London. I was an official blogger for the Tesco Mum of the Year Awards from 2012 to 2015 and was described as a ‘Parent Blogger Genius’ by The Independent. I’m also a regular contributor to Visit Britain’s media centre, providing topical press releases to international news outlets.

Everyone on my mailing list has joined of your own volition – usually after taking part in a giveaway that offered you an extra entry for signing up – but if you get bored with my witterings, you can quickly and easily click ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ on the bottom of every MailChimp newsletter.
I have never, and would never, pass on your details without your express permission – and even then the only reason I’d probably do that would be when sending your name and address to a company or brand for prize fulfilment.
However, I also wanted to clearly point out that it’s part of ASA regulations that I provide the details of giveaway winners on request; while this is unlikely to be requested (it hasn’t happened yet) please do bear this in mind when you enter one of my giveaways. Your name will also appear on the Rafflectoper giveaway widget (but not any other details). Henceforth, your entry in any of my giveaways will be considered acceptance of these conditions.
In addition to all the GDPR compliance safety nets that have been introduced by WordPress, Rafflectoper and MailChimp, my blog posts now come with a nifty comment checkbox, so you can decide whether you’d like my site to retain your details for next time.
