Men. Notoriously hard to live with, and buy presents for – am I right?!
You want to get your dads, hubbies, brothers and sons something that’s good value and genuinely useful (kitschy presents are funny on the day, but longer term they’re a bit of a waste of money), but you also want something that will make their eyes light up.
So here it is – my reasonably-priced gift guide for the man who has everything:
1: Luxury Caramels Christmas Selection, £15, from The Fudge Kitchen. These creamy, melt-in-your-mouth caramels come in six different flavours: sea salt, chocolate rose, chocolate & orange, cherry bakewell, speculoos (a spiced gingerbread biscuit) and chocolate. These are deliciously indulgent, and the perfect Christmas treat for the sweet tooth in your life.
2: Coffee Gift Pack, £12, from Real Deal Roasters. Got a java aficionado in your home? What better way to welcome each day than with a steaming cup of freshly-ground coffee, and some precious me-time. These quality coffees are sourced from the very best producers all over the globe, and brought right to his table (now you just have to train him to put the cup in the dishwasher afterwards… ).
3: Pace6 Plus six-blade razor + four refills, £10.99, Dorco. Practical, but a lot more exciting than pants and socks – this Korean razor can be bought in the starter set, then you simply sign the fella up for a monthly subscription. No more moaning about blunt blades, and last-minute shopping runs – these are conveniently posted through your letterbox so he has a constant supply of quality razors.
4: Personalised Silver Wine Stopper, £27.99, from Find Me A Gift. If the fella enjoys a drop of the grape juice get him his own personalised wine stopper, complete with a short message or monogram etched into the top. Not only does it look great, it keeps the vino nice and fresh until the next sesh.
5: Retro Popcorn Maker, £29.99, from Find Me A Gift: Who doesn’t love freshly-popped popcorn to munch on during family movie night? This fun retro-style popcorn maker uses hot air rather than oil, making it the perfect guilt-free snack (or, add some extra guilt with sweet or savoury popcorn seasoning).
