Easter. That time of year when it’s not just OK, but almost expected to eat chocolate for breakfast. Which then launches a blood glucose rollercoaster which sees the highest of manic sugar-rush highs, followed by the inevitable crash.
All part of the Easter fun though, right?
Another Easter tradition is the much-loved holiday story ‘The Tale of the Great Bunny’, created 20 years ago by Cadbury to encourage families to join in with their own magical Easter Egg Hunts.
This year they put a modern new twist on this family favourite by inviting singer-songwriter and mum of two, Frankie Bridge, to rewrite the classic tale, which can be downloaded from the Cadbury website, alongside with all the details of every Cadbury’s Easter Egg hunt near you.
This endearing story follows siblings Jack and Molly as they follow a series of mysterious clues, leading them on an enchanting Easter Egg Hunt with parents, Tom and Sarah.
‘It’s actually a little bit of a secret but Easter is my favourite holiday,’ Frankie revealed. ‘We used to have Easter Egg Hunts every year, and now I love to do the same for my own children. I really do hope families will love the book and it will inspire them to go on their very own magical Easter Egg Hunts.’
But I have an extra-special Easter treat for you – how would you like to win your own hard copy of Frankie’s retelling of The Tale of the Great Easter Bunny AND some delicious Cadbury’s holiday treats?
