As the girls get older they get more and more independent. I encourage this with little things to build their confidence; they get their own breakfast in the morning, and tidy their rooms, and wash and dry their own hair.
Which got a little easier after we were sent this Microphon hairdryer from designedforhair.com. Created by celebrity hairstylist Max Centini and engineered by Italian beauty company UKI International, this vibrantly coloured hairdryer doesn’t just look cool, it’s powerful as well.
There are two colours – violent and hot pink – and two speed and heat settings – 120-150w and 70 degrees, and 750-1000w and 90 degrees. With silicon grips and weighing just 290 grams, the Microphon is light enough for the girls to easily use on their own. They love doing something for themselves, and I love freeing up more of my time.
Lil Sis is our resident clothes horse, and dreams of being a hairdresser when she grows up, so she’s particularly enamoured with the Microphon. And they both love that it’s shaped like a real microphone so they can take a break from hair drying to belt out a Little Mix tune. Like you do.
You can pick up a Microphon for £30 from Designed for Hair, House of Centini. Or, you could win one of your very own right here. Simply follow the Rafflecopter prompts (below) to go in the random draw to win your choice of purple or blue. Good luck!
