TAKING THE MICKEY (playsets review)

How to make a lovely Summer’s day pretty darn perfect…

Our lovely box of goodies included a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Mickey’s Farm Playset, Dora the Explorer Playtime Together Schoolhouse, and a Jake and the Neverland Pirates talking figurine, complete with all his famous Pirate-y catchphrases.

I love playsets, especially for Big Sis, because I LOVE seeing the girls use their imaginations. They were beside themselves with excitement, chattering away as they played.

One hour later, they were still enraptured with their fab new toys. In fact they were so caught up that, miraculously, they didn’t even think about squabbling with each other. Unheard of.

Check it out…

Lil was particularly enamoured with the talking Jake and the Neverland Pirates figurine, and carried him around all day. When I checked on her in bed that night, I found she’d fallen asleep with him curled up in her arms. Awwwwwwwww!!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Mickey’s Farm Playset, around: £35

  1. The Mickey Mouse playset looks really good. My 3-year-old is starting to really like Mickey Mouse so I may have to look into getting her something like this, perhaps for Christmas (yes, I’m thinking about that already!)

  2. love how she just tosses the box to one side and they both actually play with the contents – happy days

They were utterly obsessed with it! I don’t think I’ve ever seen them play so nicely together!! x
