FOLLOWING THE CHOCCIE TRAIL // easter egg hunt

Easter egg hunt 2

I love this time of year – the days are drawing out and the blossoms are unfurling, as winter finally relinquishes its icy grip.

After being cooped up for months, the girls have been chomping at the bit to get back outside. So when Tesco sent us a hamper packed full of goodies from their holiday range and invited us to hold our own egg hunt, I decided the back garden just wasn’t going to cut it.

So we headed off to our local woods. While the girls were having a run around I carefully hid the eggs, then I let them loose…

They had a blast, scurrying in the undergrowth and dashing from tree to tree, squealing with delight every time they uncovered another shiny egg. They has so much fun they insisted on both taking turns to hide all the eggs all over again.

They look like they had fun. We’ve been having Easter egg hunts in the garden ever since the kids broke up from school!

What a great idea having an Easter Egg hunt in the woods! I have a large garden with lots of bushes and trees so will probably do one there. Kaz

I always had so much fun on Easter Egg hunts when I was younger and I am almost sad that I wasn’t able to go on one for a while. It looks fun x

That hunt looks so special, making great use of the great outdoors, and with chocolate as a reward – perfect.
