MY MUCKY PUPS (country kids)

I grew up surrounded by the natural wonders of New Zealand – from lush forests, and snow-capped mountains, to sapphire blue lakes, and geothermal reserves.

Did I appreciate it? Did I heck.

I longed for busy cities, and wine bars, and nightclubs. The first chance I got, I ditched paradise for the bright lights of Sydney, then the gritty streets of London.

Now we’ve found ourselves a nice little compromise… we live just minutes from some stunning forests and natural reserves. Unlike my younger years, I’ve now learned to appreciate Mother Nature and I LOVE the fact the girls are happiest with a pair of Hunter boots, and a pile of muddy puddles.

Yet we’re just a 30-minute train ride from central London, for when Mama needs her little city fix. Perfect!!
Anyway, enough about me; here are the girls getting all ‘one with nature’ for Coombe Mill’s fab COUNTRY KIDS linky.

Gorgeous pictures, I’m definitely a country girl and I would go to New Zealand at the drop of a hat. My sister has been living out there for almost 10 years now and I envy her lifestyle. Hunter wellies are just fab :)

It’s great to have the best of both worlds, it’s also very true that most of us don’t realise what we have we are younger – here’s hoping our children do here at Coombe. Gorgeous pictures of your girls off exploring and at one with nature, thanks for sharing on Country Kids.

I know I didn’t fully appreciate the wonderful places that we lived when I was a child. Doesn’t everyone live like this?!!!! Ah well. So much fun to be out in the countryside. Love the wellies! #CountryKids

The balance is good I agree. Since having my wee man it’s amazing how much more I appreciate certain activities and love getting out into nature but like you there are certain things i can’t leave behind. I was in NZ for 10 months and LOVED it!
