LITTLE NAPS, AND KNITTED CAPS

Dear Youngest Child,

I totally get that you're two years old, and you're exploring your independence.

I know that 'I do it!' is your favourite phrase, and fully accept that many, MANY more hours will pass slowly by as I wait for you to either work out how to do something, or admit that you do still need a little help from Mummy.

I understand that you're pushing boundaries as you grow and learn, and the frustration of not being able to fully express yourself sometimes results in a tantrum. Just as I know these meltdowns are most likely to happen at the end of the day, when you're tired, and I'm trying to get you to bed.

I accept that sometimes I just have to leave you, until the fury burns out, and sleep takes over - wherever you may be situated at the time.

But what I don't get is... what the heck is with the hat?!?

Wot So Funee?

Ha ha! It cracks me up to think of Big Sis, in the throes of a nuclear-grade tantrum, stopping to ram that hat on her head!!! x

Only a truly furious person would dare to wear such a pink, fluffy hat!!! ;)

She was so exhausted after her tantrum that she couldn't even make it to bed... ;)
