I could tell you how much Lil Sis loves the new Leapster GS Explorer.
I could explain how she sits, still-as-a-statue, for half-an-hour (unheard of for a two-year-old) as she watches an episode of Sesame Street that I’ve downloaded.
How she manoeuvres the stylus with frightening precision as she plays with the educational games. How she watches over her sister’s shoulder, as 4-year-old Big Sis practices her alphabet on the letter writing app.
I could tell you. But I won’t. I’ll show you instead…

The LEAPFROG LEAPSTER GS EXPLORER is the ultimate learning game system. It has motion-sensing play, a built-in camera, kid-friendly multi-button controls, a touch screen and stylus, a library of 300+ game cartridges, downloadable apps, eBooks, videos, and music.

It’s aimed primarily at kids aged 3-9, but as you can see from above, there are apps, videos and games that will appeal to younger children too.

It’s completely child friendly (in fact, you’ll be slightly freaked out by how easily your kids master the handheld console). And, best of all, they’re problem solving, improving literacy, and learning lots of cool stuff – all while having fun!

The downloads are a touch on the pricey side – around £5 each – but you’re buying them outright, and the console comes with three free apps already installed.

The LeapsterGS Explorer has an RRP of £64.99, but search around; there are some great pre-Christmas deals at the moment!

Oh, photos are too cute. Am slightly freaked out by how good Bibsey is with the iPad.
