I work for Cadbury Dairy Milk… the email began.
I’d already read enough. Whatever it is, count me in, I quickly typed back.
So that’s how the girls and I ended up standing in a queue at Westfield White City, wearing a rather fetching bright purple robe, waiting to sample the chocolatey delights of this rather mahoosive Magnificent Musical Fountain. Squeeee!
We listened intently to the story of Joyville. For those of you who don’t know, Joyville is where all the Cadbury chocolate is made. It’s a magical place where a river of molten chocolate flows via a swirly network of pipes, to supply the whole country.
Every so often the powers-that-be redirect the pipe system into the Magical Musical Fountain, to spread a little chocolately joy. We tapped into the fountain to sample a cup of molten chocolate. Purely for research purposes, you understand. And it was good. Reeeeeeeeally good.
All too soon, our tour was over. We’re handed back our robes and rejoined the throngs of Westfield shoppers, with tell-tale chocolate moustaches on our faces.
The fountain may now have gone now, but the chocolate memory lives on.
