OOOOOOOH, GET ME!!

I’m not a naturally crafty person, so I’m always disproportionately smug when I attempt a project, and it works out pretty OK – as was the case earlier this week when I attempted to jazz up the girls’ room.

There was a big old blank wall screaming out for some lovin’, so I did a bit of digging on the internet and found this fab Woodland Height Chart Mural from ELC for £18…

It was really easy to put up, and I reckon it looks pretty darn snazzy. Big Sis clearly agreed, because she stood under the tree for five minutes saying: ‘Wow! Wow! Wow!’

What do you think? You likey??

    Gorgeous!

We have a space set in the Little Man’s room with aliens, rockets etc . . . such a fun way to add some colour and personality to the room!

  3. Wow that is really nice- I have just done Mads nursery but I am already looking forward to changing it again when its time for her to be in a big girls room! Got a while to wait though! x

Mum2Alesha: Well, I’m very pleased you approve 😉 The room desperately needed some jazzing up so this was a good start. Think I might continue on with the woodland theme… x

Mom-on-a-Wire: If I had a boy, I’d DEFINITELY do a space theme with planets and stars and rockets!! x

Mrs E: It’s really fun decorating their room when they get a bit older – although don’t bother before they’re 2.5/3-ish coz they just trash it before then (I know this from experience… LOL!!). Best part was Big Sis’ reaction – she was soooo excited!! x

It looks really great. I’m also a complete arts and crafts dud so I’d be terrified of getting the height wrong. On the other hand – I could grow a few inches…hmmm.

Midlife Single Mum: I must admit, I was a bit worried about stuffing it up, but just followed the pic on the ELC website to see what it should look like. Even I couldn’t go wrong!! x

  12. wow it looks great! I wish we could paint on our walls but we can only use creams and boring colours as we rent and that’s what our contract states.

Helen: These are removable vinyl stickers… you can always peel them off when you leave… You’re tempted now, aren’t you, huh? Huh??
