SPREAD A SMILE!! with Mummy’s Little Monkey and Green & Blacks

This time round I don’t actually need your nominations, because I already know exactly who deserves this week’s Spread A Smile treat, and I know you’ll all agree with me.

Jen is a well-known and much-loved personality in the Mummy Blogging/Twitter scene. She started her fab blog Mum in the Madhouse nearly two years ago, after undergoing a double mastectomy.

We followed her ups and downs as she recovered, then dealt with ongoing complications, with MadDad and her two lovely boys, Mini and Maxi, by her side.

Also supporting and encouraging her every step of the way was her mother Margaret (right, with Maxi).

But, sadly, on Christmas Day, while preparing for their family day together, Jen received the devastating news that her dear Mum had passed away.

So instead of celebrating, she was explaining to her boys that Grandma’s heart had stopped working and they wouldn’t see her again, and that it was OK to cry because she was very sad too.

Obviously we can’t take away the pain and loss Jen and her family are feeling, but we can send her a little treat to let her know that we’re all thinking about her. We’re sending lots of love, and a little something else too…

The lovely team at Green & Black’s have kindly offered to send Jen one of their delish new organic chocolate gift boxes.

The 24 Miniature Bar Collection includes eight of their yummiest  flavours  – Dark, Milk, Creamy Milk, Butterscotch, Almond, Cherry, Ginger and White.

Best of all, because it’s organic, you don’t need to feel guilty about eating them! ;)

We hope you enjoy your treat Jen, and don’t forget that your cyber friends are always here for you. xx

(Green&Black’s 24 Miniatures, £8.99, can be bought from most supermarkets and independent retailers; www.greenandblacks.com)
