Nothing smells sweeter than your baby when they’re all freshly bathed, and wrapped up in a fluffy towel, right Mums?
But let’s face it, they don’t always smell so good – unless you’re particularly fond of the aroma of baby sick, and nappies, that is…
I prefer not to use fragranced body washes on the kids when they’re really young, as I think their skin is still a bit delicate, so I was intrigued to read about Mon Bébé baby perfume.
To be more specific, it’s a scented water made from natural plant extracts, such as hawthorn, and lime-tree, which shroud your little one in a lightly fragranced mist, without drying or irritating their skin.
The UK creators, Sandrine and Neil, decided to introduce the scented water to the UK after being sent a bottle from a relative in France – where glamorous Europeans regularly use baby perfume.
They combined vanilla, chamomile and mandarin, to create a unisex fragrance with a blend of aromatherapy properties designed to soothe and calm your baby.
When I first sprayed Mon Bébé I found the smell quite citrusy, but the top notes quickly wore off leaving a lovely soft, musky scent.
For the littlest one, I spray a really light mist into the air, and let it settle gently over her. My toddler is at that age where she copies everything that I do, so she loves it when I give her a spray too. The smell lasts all day, without being overpowering.
Mon Bébé costs £25, but comes in a 100ml bottle so will last ages, and keep your kids smelling sweet.
